How to choose a tessellated tile pattern

Start with the shape and width of the floor. On a narrow path, check how much of the pattern remains visible between the borders. On a broad verandah, consider how the repeat meets posts, doorways and steps.

A photograph of a finished project helps with the overall look, but your own measurements determine the set-out.

Plan the pattern, border and feature together

Choose your tessellated tile border, tile colours and optional encaustic-style feature tiles before quantities are finalised. Confirm colours with samples, as screen images and project lighting can vary.
